Python Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to design, build, and sustain backend services and data pipelines in a fully remote, full-time capacity. This position involves working on actual production systems and emphasizes writing clean code, applying sound architectural principles, and maintaining durability of delivered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support Python backend applications, including APIs and data processing workflows.
• Produce clean, reliable, and thoroughly tested code aligned with contemporary Python standards.
• Design and implement API endpoints using RESTful or GraphQL conventions.
• Enhance system performance and optimize resource consumption across services.
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as product management, data specialists, and infrastructure engineering.
• Participate actively in peer code reviews and documentation of engineering practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum two years of experience in building production-grade Python applications.
• Proficient in Python frameworks including Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Knowledgeable in working with relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and container technologies such as Docker.
• Familiar with version control systems (Git), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and testing tools (pytest).
• A balanced approach to managing trade-offs between speed of delivery and code quality.
