Purchasing Support Analyst

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Business Services Operations' performance management reviews and proactively address issues requiring problem-solving.
• Facilitate Supplier Onboarding, manage Purchase Order (PO) procedures, process purchase requests, and handle ServiceNow tickets efficiently, accurately, and promptly.
• Provide exceptional support in handling complex customer inquiries with high service quality.
• Identify and implement process efficiencies across departments, collaborating with stakeholders including Accounts Payable and Procurement teams.
• Engage in regional initiatives such as plant production, regulatory compliance, and localization programs.
• Maintain strong relationships with global and regional partners through effective stakeholder management.

Departmental Role

The Purchasing Support team is part of the Supplier Services function within Business Service Operations, playing a crucial role in the Procure-to-Pay process for the LEGO Group's operations in APAC and China. Key focus areas include:

• Ensuring timely and accurate processing of purchase orders for LEGO companies across APAC and China.
• Adhering to agreements and contracts developed by the procurement department.
• Upholding high standards of quality, stewardship, and global process compliance.
• Reducing fraud risks in purchasing procedures.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

• Previous experience in a Procurement or Purchasing Support Analyst role.
• Proficiency with SAP, Coupa, or similar large-scale ERP systems, as well as strong Excel skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and curiosity for data analysis.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage diverse stakeholders independently.
• Experience working in collaborative environments and across shared services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and relationship-building capabilities.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese due to engagement with global, regional APAC, and China teams.
