Junior Production Application Support Engineer (Shift Work Required)

Project Overview

We are seeking a Junior Production Application Support Engineer to provide technical support for treasury applications used by a leading bank based in Singapore. This role involves managing technical issues, monitoring services and environments, and supporting End-of-Day (EOD) batch processes within a 24/7 shift-based model.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 technical and functional application support in a treasury production environment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues with online trade booking applications.
• Manage technical services, environment setups, and provide support for EOD batch operations during morning, night, and weekend shifts.
• Support production Java and microservices applications.

Required Skills and Experience

• Between one and two years of experience in a production application support role.
• Competency in analyzing Unix logs to debug and troubleshoot issues.
• Proficiency with SQL queries for data retrieval.
• Experience delivering Level 1 and Level 2 technical and functional support.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to manage relationships with key stakeholders.
• Willingness and flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Desirable Additional Skills

• Experience using Control-M scheduling tool.
• Familiarity with Murex software.
