Role Summary

We are seeking a Purchasing Buyer to join Raffles & Fairmont Doha, responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring necessary goods and services. The goal is to maintain quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely deliveries for hotel operations through strong supplier relations and efficient inventory management while adhering to company procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure products, materials, equipment, and services aligned with business needs.
• Solicit and assess supplier quotations, conduct price and contract negotiations.
• Generate and manage purchase orders with precise documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and arrange timely replenishments to balance inventory.
• Foster and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Oversee delivery tracking and address quality, price, or supply chain issues.
• Identify new vendors and opportunities through market analysis for cost reductions.
• Ensure strict compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and contracts.
• Work collaboratively with finance, operations, and departmental leaders to fulfill purchasing needs.
• Prepare detailed purchasing reports, analyze expenditure trends, and suggest process enhancements.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, ideally within luxury hospitality environments.
• Strong capabilities in negotiation, analysis, and organization.
• Familiarity with procurement systems, supplier relationship management, and inventory control.
• Proficient in ERP platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Capable of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a dynamic setting.
• Prior exposure to hospitality procurement, particularly in hotel and restaurant sectors, is advantageous.
