Purchase Engineer

About the Role

This position is located at Carrier Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Limited in Kherki Daula, Gurgaon, focused on Quality and Purchasing functions. The role requires an individual to adeptly review engineering and technical drawings, manage documentation, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders including suppliers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering and technical drawings with precision.
• Create and manage databases, maintain accurate quality and purchase records, and handle documentation efficiently.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools to produce reports and manage data regularly.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers on materials, quality standards, and technical requirements.
• Support activities related to quality inspection, documentation, and process support as necessary.
• Maintain thorough records of inspection reports, materials, components, purchase quotations, and vendor interactions.
• Ensure timely follow-up and proper documentation flow between departments and external partners.
• Perform additional responsibilities related to quality, purchasing, and production operations as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Diploma or B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred.
• Experience in quality assurance, purchasing, manufacturing, or engineering sectors is advantageous.
• Strong ability to understand and analyze engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general MS Office applications.
• Skilled at maintaining structured data and managing databases.
• Effective communication and coordination capabilities for interaction with suppliers and internal teams.
• Good analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
• Comfortable working in industrial and manufacturing environments.
