Purchase Engineer

About the Role

Placewell Industrial Services Pvt Ltd is seeking a Purchase Engineer to oversee store operations, material handling, and inventory management at their Bhosari location. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with various departments to ensure smooth inventory flow and material issuance.

Responsibilities

• Manage material issuance according to issue register and project codes
• Maintain daily logs of material issues within SAP B1 system
• Ensure materials are packed appropriately for handling and transport
• Conduct regular stock reconciliations comparing physical inventory with SAP data
• Oversee the issuance of tools and machinery to the production department
• Prepare delivery challans for outward movement of materials
• Handle processing of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) for materials received
• Maintain minimum stock levels for C-class inventory items
• Coordinate liaising effectively among purchase, production, and related teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management
• 1 to 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Practical experience working with SAP B1 software
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
