About the Role
As a Public Area Attendant at Hilton's hotel in Doha, Qatar, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of all public spaces within the hotel. More than cleaning, you'll be spreading hospitality's warmth and creating memorable experiences that enhance every guest's stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of toilets, lifts, back areas, terraces, and other public zones.
- Maintain cleanliness in rooms, hallways, and restrooms ensuring they meet high standards.
- Use vacuum cleaners, brooms, and shampoo machines to clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture.
- Wash walls and ceilings; disinfect and organize all furniture surfaces.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors to maintain their appearance and safety.
- Dust and polish metalwork and keep restaurants and banquet halls spotless.
- Empty outdoor ashtrays and urns regularly to uphold hygiene standards.
- Maintain public area furniture, fixtures, elevators by cleaning and polishing them.
- Collect and dispose of trash consistently across all areas, keeping the front and back of the hotel clean.
- Follow a special cleaning schedule and maintain strict adherence to time schedules for cleaning each area.
- Conduct spring cleaning of designated areas as per the schedule provided.
- Post caution signs where necessary to ensure guest and staff safety.
- Comply fully with hotel standard operating procedures and Lost and Found policies.
- Assist guests in public areas as needed and maintain housekeeping inventory and equipment, returning and restocking trolleys at shift end.
