Job description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced PROS CPQ Solution Architect with deep expertise in PROS SMART CPQ to lead implementation and integration projects. The ideal candidate will have over eight years of experience in configuring and deploying CPQ solutions, specifically with PROS, and extensive hands-on knowledge of end-to-end implementation, coding, business rules, and system integrations.
Core Responsibilities
- Leverage standard PROS CPQ functionalities to propose efficient solutions.
- Handle Classic CPQ modules including Product Catalog, Business Properties, Guided Selling, and Configuration Process.
- Assist business analysts by defining and sizing user stories.
- Create comprehensive technical designs and architecture for client-specific PROS Control and Pricing implementations.
- Lead integration efforts of PROS Pricing within the client’s technological ecosystem.
- Provide guidance to customer integration teams regarding PROS web APIs.
- Develop data exchange modules connecting PROS CPQ with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Implement pricing and analytics features using PROS Pricing Solution.
- Support functional and technical adjustments through configuration and customization.
- Define integration mappings and manage integration with external systems.
- Coordinate with PROS Product teams to resolve product-related issues.
- Assist in delivering high-level and detailed estimates for implementations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- More than 8 years working experience with PROS CPQ solutions.
- Minimum 2 full-cycle end-to-end implementations using PROS SMART CPQ.
- Proficient in MACRO coding and core Java programming.
- Strong ability in writing Business Rules, Constraints, and setting up Product Links and Bundles.
- Solid understanding of the Quote to Cash workflow.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, integration between Salesforce/Dynamics and PROS CPQ is advantageous.
- Certifications in PROS such as PPSS Smart CPQ, PROS PPSS, Quoting 203 Smart CPQ, Quoting 310 Quote Modelling, and Quoting 320 Product Portfolio Design considered a plus.
Additional Details
The role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, and requires working onsite full-time. Candidates should be prepared to collaborate extensively with various business and technology stakeholders and demonstrate leadership within CPQ implementation projects.
