Role Overview

The role requires a seasoned Project Manager focused on the oversight of pipeline pre-commissioning projects within oil and gas. The incumbent will lead all facets of project execution, including thorough planning, mobilization, technical management, resource coordination, commercial oversight, and client relations to guarantee safe, timely, and budget-aligned project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage comprehensive delivery of pipeline pre-commissioning projects ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality benchmarks, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Supervise technical tasks such as pipeline cleaning, flooding, gauging, hydrotesting, dewatering, drying, and nitrogen purging operations.
• Coordinate efforts among project personnel, manage specialist equipment, subcontractors, and facilitate mobilization activities.
• Develop and control project execution plans, including scheduling, budgeting, risk analysis, and technical documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with client requirements, industry best practices, and company's QHSE policies.
• Track project expenditures, progress, scope changes, and overall financial performance.
• Serve as the principal contact for clients, maintaining transparent communication and ensuring project success.
• Provide hands-on technical and operational leadership to on-site teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience overseeing pipeline pre-commissioning projects in the oil and gas field.
• In-depth technical expertise related to pipeline cleaning, flooding, gauging, hydrotesting, dewatering, and drying processes.
• Proven track record with both onshore and offshore pipeline project delivery.
• Capability to manage project budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and subcontractor relationships effectively.
• Strong awareness of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements, permit-to-work protocols, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Excellent leadership qualities combined with client management and communication skills.
• Educational qualifications in engineering or a related technical discipline are preferred.
