Project Manager

Role Overview

Amentum UK and International is a leader in engineering, project management, and solutions integration, collaborating closely with government clients globally. Currently operating significantly within Saudi Arabia, we are managing critical technical projects including programme management, engineering oversight, and construction assurance. We seek an experienced Project Manager specialized in NEC4 contracts to lead delivery of a key infrastructure initiative based in Riyadh, involving secure infrastructure works for a government client.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project delivery from initiation through to completion, ensuring all activities comply with NEC4 contractual requirements.
• Manage project scope, schedule, costs, risks, quality, and maintain clear communication among all stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, assurance, construction, and health and safety leadership teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Supervise contractor performance and enforce adherence to safety, security, and technical standards.
• Prepare and scrutinize essential project documentation including status reports, dashboards, and issue logs.
• Engage with the client for approvals, handle variations, monitor progress, and facilitate technical discussions.
• Provide senior leadership with updates on project KPIs, risks, and strategic recommendations.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar field.
• At least 10 years’ project management experience, including a minimum of 5 years in managing secure environment projects.
• Demonstrated expertise with NEC4 contracts is essential.
• Professional accreditations such as PMP, PRINCE2, or NEC4 Project Manager certification are preferred.
• Strong leadership, effective communication, and stakeholder relationship management skills are crucial.
• Proficiency with project planning and reporting software, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of Saudi Arabian regulatory requirements and secure project delivery protocols.
