Opportunity Overview
This position provides a distinct chance to spearhead MLOps-focused initiatives, revolutionizing the technical underpinnings for applications and cloud infrastructure. The role entails spearheading innovation and advocating best practices for production-grade AI-driven MLOps deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a transformation roadmap for MLOps infrastructure spanning both edge and cloud platforms.
- Oversee AI projects end-to-end including planning, execution, continuous monitoring, milestone tracking, and risk management.
- Promote and apply Agile and Scrum frameworks to enhance project effectiveness.
- Lead migration efforts ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost management.
- Design strategies for data preparation to improve usability within MLOps workflows.
- Guide a team of data scientists towards shaping future AI and MLOps strategic directions.
- Work collaboratively across teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Compile detailed reports on project status and obstacles and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders.
- Support creation and upkeep of technical documents and quality standards.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineering staff facilitating their career development.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related machine learning disciplines.
- At least six years' experience within MLOps, AI, Cloud computing, or DevOps, especially within manufacturing sectors.
- Four or more years of experience designing and deploying extensive machine learning applications.
- Minimum two years of leadership in managing agile teams.
- Solid capability in coordinating AI/ML projects covering data management and model lifecycle activities.
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, MLOps best practices, and cloud infrastructures.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and InfluxDB databases and migrating these services to cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes, OpenShift, and native cloud technologies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
- Possession of certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and AWS qualifications.
- Proven skills in monitoring and optimizing performance in cloud-based systems.
