Project Manager - Hospital Turnkey Projects

Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple turnkey hospital infrastructure projects across Maharashtra, primarily focusing on Modular Operating Theaters, Intensive Care Units, Cardiac Catheterization Labs, Medical Gas Pipeline Systems, and medical equipment installations in government hospitals and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of 3 to 5 concurrent turnkey hospital sites including planning, BOQ validation, procurement coordination, execution, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate with civil, HVAC, electrical, MGPS, modular OT, and equipment vendors/OEMs directly on site and oversee subcontractors to ensure quality and timely execution.
• Interpret and resolve site-level design and interface issues using General Arrangement drawings, layouts, and Single Line Diagrams in liaison with hospital engineers, Public Works Department, and consultants.
• Monitor project progress against schedules, identify deviations promptly, and handle change requests and approval for additional work items.
• Ensure compliance with NABH, IPHS, and AERB standards throughout project execution; maintain all installation evidences, test report documentation, and handover papers.
• Prepare and submit weekly progress and cost reports to senior management.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Engineering (B.E. or B.Tech) in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or Civil engineering or a Diploma with proven site experience.
• Between 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in healthcare infrastructure or hospital turnkey projects, including successful delivery of at least 3 modular OT or ICU projects.
• Familiarity with Medical Gas Pipeline Systems codes (HTM 02-01/NFPA 99), HVAC systems for OT/ICU environments, and medical equipment installations.
• Experienced in working with government projects, including coordination with PWD/CPWD, maintaining measurement books, inspection procedures, and project handovers.
• Proficient in MS Project and Excel, capable of reading AutoCAD drawings, and maintaining effective site communication primarily through WhatsApp.
• Fluency in Marathi and Hindi with working knowledge of English; willingness to spend 15 to 18 days per month at project sites.
