Project Manager - Electrical EPC / EHV Projects

About the Role

Sugandha Enterprises is seeking a proactive and skilled Project Manager to oversee several active Electrical EPC and Extra High Voltage (EHV) projects. The role requires leading coordination efforts between site teams, company management, and clients to ensure project success.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and track progress across multiple EHV projects via project supervisors.
• Perform regular site visits to evaluate progress, quality standards, manpower deployment, and execution activities.
• Collaborate closely with supervisors on aspects including project scheduling, execution strategies, material management, and resolving site-related challenges.
• Compile site progress updates and produce detailed professional reports for both management and clients.
• Manage client communications, including emails, official correspondence, follow-ups, and daily interactions.
• Effectively coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal departments to maintain smooth workflows.
• Oversee project timelines, monitor billing processes, manage deliverables, and track pending tasks diligently.
• Anticipate and address execution obstacles by coordinating with site teams to ensure timely solutions.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience handling Electrical EPC or EHV projects.
• Academic qualification of B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Deep understanding of EHV underground cable projects including cable laying, jointing, testing, and commissioning procedures.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects and teams concurrently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to draft professional emails.
• Good grasp of project reporting techniques, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), measurements, and billing processes.
• Strong sense of ownership, effective problem-solving capabilities, and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel frequently and perform regular site visits.
