Project Manager - Business Process Re-engineering

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to spearhead strategic transformation and enhance process efficiencies within a premier financial services organization. This position entails overseeing medium to large-scale projects that focus on business transformation, process enhancement, and regulatory compliance initiatives. The successful candidate will manage the full project lifecycle from planning through to governance, stakeholder liaison, execution, and benefits realization, ensuring that projects meet deadlines, budget constraints, and align with corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design future operating models, map value streams, and develop robust implementation roadmaps complete with detailed schedules and documentation.
• Lead comprehensive project management efforts guaranteeing delivery in alignment with predetermined scope, deadlines, and budgets.
• Employ project governance frameworks and methodologies such as Agile, Lean Six Sigma, and Business Process Reengineering to guide project activities.
• Champion extensive business transformation and process improvement initiatives across various departments.
• Prepare and present detailed project reports, business cases, proposals, presentations, and maintain stakeholder communication.
• Define, track, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess program success and business impact.
• Execute post-project assessments and benchmark performance against industry standards.
• Coordinate multifaceted programs incorporating regulatory adherence, operational upgrades, and strategic priorities.
• Identify and mitigate risks, manage project interdependencies, and address resource limitations proactively.
• Work closely with senior leadership to ensure governance, alignment, and successful project completions.
• Promote ongoing improvement processes and a culture emphasizing operational excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• At least eight years of project management experience, ideally within banking or financial services sectors.
• Demonstrated history of managing major transformation, regulatory, or process optimization programs.
• Expertise in project management methodologies, including Agile frameworks, Lean Six Sigma, and Business Process Re-engineering.
• Proven capability in managing cross-divisional programs with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong skills in program governance, budgeting, comprehensive reporting, and risk evaluation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, quality management, finance, or a related discipline; master’s degree is favored.
• Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma will be an advantage.
