Role Overview
The Project Manager for the APAC region leads and oversees key projects including product launches, product modifications, and business development initiatives through to completion and beyond. This role demands managing multi-disciplinary teams, planning and tracking project milestones, and ensuring the successful achievement of project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a diverse project portfolio, understanding each project's nuances and interconnections to leverage synergies.
- Promote the Stage Gate process and ensure all relevant project documentation (charters, business cases, financial forms) is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Use project management tools to develop, monitor, and report on project plans and status updates.
- Define overall activity plans and timelines, driving projects to meet critical deadlines.
- Identify resource requirements and collaborate with senior leadership to secure necessary support.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to resolve issues, communicate progress, and assign action items clearly.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively across functions to evaluate risks, devise contingency plans, and escalate concerns as needed.
- Detect and report potential project conflicts to sponsors to facilitate barrier removal.
- Conduct post-project lessons learned sessions and integrate findings into future projects.
- Guide and enhance project management skills across teams to foster capability growth.
- Contribute ideas and input to improve project management practices within the company.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred.
- Certification in Project Management is required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in project management within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, preferably regulated FMCG or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Proven track record of managing multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects on scope, budget, and timeline.
- Creative problem-solving capabilities.

- Organizational skills with a drive to achieve results.
- Ability to multitask and handle various project components in dynamic environments.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and management.
- Experience with change and conflict management.

- Familiarity with Stage Gate processes and Product Life Cycle Management.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Project or equivalent project management software, including methodologies and best practices.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal capabilities, resourcefulness.
