Project Manager

Job Overview

This role focuses on comprehensive management of joinery and furniture projects from initiation through completion. Responsibilities include planning, coordination, and strict adherence to project scope and contractual obligations while leading multidisciplinary teams.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Define and confirm the project scope by aligning it with all documentation, site specifics, and stakeholder needs.
• Create and maintain a detailed project timeline highlighting milestones synchronized with contract deadlines and inputs from technical, procurement, and production departments.
• Ensure all project activities and stakeholder feedback are referenced accurately against original contracts.
• Oversee and communicate any deviations or changes from initial contract scope during project progression.
• Serve as the primary communication link between internal teams and external parties.
• Apply deep expertise in joinery, including technical design, fabrication, and installation, focusing on cost optimization.
• Lead and coordinate the project team to maintain smooth operations and resilience throughout the project lifespan.
• Validate accuracy of technical drawings and fabrication work against site measurements ensuring compliance for mass production standards.
• Provide technical and fabrication advice responsive to site conditions.
• Manage on-site activities involving daily presence, multidisciplinary coordination, measurement verification, team progress monitoring, inventory management, and reporting.
• Distribute approved shop drawings and site plans effectively for smooth installation phases.
• Report incidents to management promptly and recommend efficient corrective measures.
• Resolve outstanding items with stakeholders to keep the project on schedule.
• Initiate and track project invoicing processes alongside finance and client requirements, including handling petty cash billing internally.
• Prepare and deliver weekly updates to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Closely monitor project milestones and facilitate closure procedures until issuance of Taking Over Certificate (TOC).
• Assist in identifying centralized accommodation for project teams working outside Riyadh.

Candidate Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in fit-out and joinery projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Proven expertise in the joinery and furniture sector.
• Preference for candidates available to join immediately or with minimal notice period.
