Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Project Manager for our Melbourne office to lead design and delivery processes, support senior leadership, and manage contracts to ensure project goals and risk mitigation strategies are effectively executed. This role demands autonomous decision-making, problem resolution, meticulous organizational capabilities, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, document, and develop strategies to control project risks.
- Comprehend project specifications and drawings, ensuring compliance and quality standards are upheld.
- Manage timely and precise processing of progress claims.
- Coordinate and compile contract documentation and oversee contract execution procedures.
- Ensure payment and variation processing aligns with company policies.
- Maintain and evaluate project forecasts and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and authorities to meet contract and delivery requirements.
- Organize content and lead project meetings, including design, site, and project control group meetings.
- Engage and manage design consultants to ensure designs fulfill project functional requirements.
Candidate Profile
Candidates should hold a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, or related fields, with over five years of experience in project and development management. At least three years must be with a project management consultancy. Proven ability to work effectively within dynamic teams and consistently deliver high-quality project outcomes is essential.
