Project Engineer III

About the Role

Join CHA Consulting, Inc. as a Project Engineer III within the Asset Management Team based in Carlow, Ireland, or remotely across Ireland. This role focuses on supporting systems and data essential for the reliable operation of advanced manufacturing and mission-critical facilities. You'll play a key role in enhancing asset performance and long-term operational success by supporting reliability programs, maintenance system optimization, and ensuring the accuracy of asset data throughout the asset lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent technical analyses, prepare documentation, and support systems related to asset data, equipment hierarchies, and maintenance strategies.
• Create and maintain asset documentation, develop data models, generate reports, and prepare system inputs under supervision.
• Identify and rectify inconsistencies in data, documentation deficiencies, or system problems using established procedures and best practices to enhance asset reliability and compliance.
• Track project tasks and milestones, proactively managing asset data or system challenges that may affect maintenance planning or operational efficiency.
• Manage significant components of asset management initiatives with oversight, including field assessments, data validation, and system updates.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Preferred: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Solid theoretical and practical knowledge in mechanical engineering.
• Familiarity with QA/QC practices and regulatory compliance standards.
• Proficiency in engineering and modeling software such as Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, as well as Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Engagement in professional engineering organizations is advantageous.
