Project Engineer

About the Role

This role requires managing and overseeing all aspects of fit-out construction projects to guarantee they complete on schedule, within budget, safely, and up to quality requirements and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise fit-out related construction activities to ensure smooth progress.
• Track project timelines, quality benchmarks, and financial expenditures continuously.
• Liaise and coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project alignment.
• Evaluate and approve shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements for compliance and suitability.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications throughout all stages.
• Handle and resolve technical challenges and site-related issues promptly.
• Compile progress reports regularly and assist in the successful handover of the project upon completion.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field.
• Between 8 to 12 years of relevant experience specifically in interior fit-out projects such as luxury hotels, commercial buildings, or upscale residential developments.
• Comprehensive understanding of fit-out construction processes, finishing techniques, and overall project coordination.
• Skillful in using AutoCAD, MS Project or Primavera, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication abilities, excellent coordination aptitude, and effective problem-solving skills.
