Role Summary
The Project Document Controller will be responsible for effectively managing and organizing all project-related documents. This role demands strong attention to accuracy, compliance adherence, and collaborative support to different company units, ensuring the smooth operation of document processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain an effective system for document control ensuring efficient organization and storage.
- Classify, archive, and facilitate quick access to documents, keeping them updated and accurate.
- Manage versioning of documents, preventing inconsistencies and ensuring the latest revisions are used.
- Monitor changes in documentation and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders promptly.
- Guarantee adherence to regulatory standards and industry norms through regular document audits.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve compliance issues quickly.
- Handle the secure and timely distribution of documents to designated personnel and departments.
- Train and assist employees regarding document control policies and procedures.
- Support various departments in meeting their documentation needs and align practices with project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to streamline document control in projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Management, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience in document control or similar roles.
- Proficiency with document management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Keen attention to detail and precision.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in both German and English at a business level.
