Working Environment & Projects

You will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of sizeable data centre projects, managing a senior team from project management through engineering, commercial, and construction disciplines. These projects are highly technical, tightly scheduled, and delivered under strict client frameworks. The culture balances high performance with collaboration, with leaders expected to participate in broader business strategy.

Based in Dublin, with occasional travel, this role is central to project execution and long-term planning, working closely with executives, clients, and supply chain stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

• Overall delivery accountability for multiple large data centre projects from pre-construction to handover.
• Establish delivery strategy, governance, and performance benchmarks across all portfolio projects.
• Lead and develop senior teams including project management, engineering, and commercial functions.
• Manage programme scheduling, budgets, and margins at portfolio level.
• Serve as the senior contact for clients, consultants, and key suppliers.
• Oversee comprehensive risk management and reporting processes to leadership and client boards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
• Contribute to bidding, tendering, and pre-construction strategies amongst senior leadership.
• Support succession planning and continuous development of the delivery function.

Qualifications & Experience

• Extensive senior leadership experience with main contractors, developers, or specialist contractors on large-scale projects.
• Proven track record as a Senior Project Manager, Project Director or Operations Manager with full project or portfolio responsibility.
• Experience in data centre or mission-critical infrastructure is advantageous but not mandatory; candidates from other complex, high-value domains are welcomed.
• Strong leadership skills in building, mentoring, and growing delivery teams.
• High commercial awareness and thorough understanding of contract, risk, and programme management.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills, including with clients, consultants, and executives.
• Preferably holds a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Remuneration & Benefits

The role offers a base salary ranging from €150,000 to €170,000, supplemented by a car allowance, performance-based bonus, pension scheme, and executive benefits. The position includes equity participation and potential for elevation to board-level leadership as the division expands.
