About the Role

Join a global engineering consultancy to lead a significant infrastructure development project in Riyadh. This senior leadership role offers the chance to collaborate internationally and contribute to large-scale civil engineering projects with a focus on infrastructure design and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to manage the design and implementation of all infrastructure elements within the development.
  • Coordinate and oversee multiple infrastructure design contracts including primary and secondary infrastructure, highways, drainage, utilities, and public spaces.
  • Ensure seamless integration and compliance across diverse infrastructure components, aligning with project objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Review and authorize design submissions guaranteeing adherence to local regulations, project requirements, and international best practices.
  • Engage and collaborate with project stakeholders such as government agencies, developers, and engineering teams.
  • Track and monitor design progress, proactively identifying risks and executing mitigation strategies.
  • Support procurement and construction phases through expert design input and technical advice.
  • Lead initiatives promoting sustainability, innovation, and value engineering through the design lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • At least 15 years of professional experience specializing in infrastructure design and project delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and completing large-scale infrastructure developments, preferably within the Middle East region.
  • Deep understanding of a variety of infrastructure systems including road networks, drainage, utilities, and comprehensive site services.
  • Experience directing multidisciplinary design teams and coordinating external consultants.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership capabilities, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Knowledgeable about regional codes, standards, and licensing procedures.
