Role Summary

The Project Director will oversee the entire lifecycle of major tower projects located in Riyadh and Makkah, providing leadership to ensure projects meet deadlines, budget constraints, safety, and quality standards. This senior role requires tactical stakeholder engagement and commercial expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the complete delivery of tower projects in Riyadh, ensuring objectives related to time, cost, safety, and quality are met.
• Serve as the main liaison with clients, consultants, government entities, and other stakeholders in the Riyadh area.
• Lead the site organization, encompassing construction, engineering, safety, quality assurance, procurement, planning, logistics, and administration.
• Engage proactively with Riyadh authorities like the municipality, Civil Defense, and security agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
• Conduct project progress meetings, monitor critical path tasks, and enforce corrective measures if schedule or budget deviations occur.
• Ensure adherence to contract terms, Saudi labor laws, and all local regulations.
• Manage project risks, resolve disputes, and make pivotal strategic decisions at the project site level.
• Organize resource planning and mobilize workforce, equipment, and subcontractors efficiently.
• Provide frequent status reports, risk assessments, and forecasts to executive leadership.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 15 years of solid construction experience.
• Proven track record managing large-scale tower or high-rise developments, or mega projects within Saudi Arabia.
• Comprehensive understanding of Saudi construction regulations, permitting, and labor legislation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams effectively.
• Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication.
• Strong expertise in commercial management, contracting, and risk mitigation.
