STS Group, based in Ireland, is a leading Electrical and Instrumentation contractor engaged in numerous critical projects for top-tier clients across Europe and the Middle East. Operating as part of the Dussmann Group, a Berlin-based facility management specialist, STS has a strong project pipeline and is expanding its team.
Role Overview
The Transmission & Distribution division is delivering multiple projects across Ireland. We seek a Project Director to grow and manage these projects' portfolio effectively. This position entails ensuring successful delivery of concurrent projects while maintaining safety standards, service quality, profitability, and fostering client and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all facets of projects under management, including commercial, planning, procurement, construction, quality control, health and safety, engineering, and personnel development.
- Provide leadership and support to Project Managers to ensure project success.
Candidate Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a recognized trade qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience managing large-scale construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of high voltage electrical infrastructure, regulatory standards, and preconstruction planning.
- Familiarity with the Irish Medium Voltage/High Voltage sector, including key clients and consultants.
- Understanding of Civil, Structural, and Architectural software packages.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and strong business insight.
