Job description
Role Overview
The Project Coordinator is tasked with managing programming, coordination, administration and supporting the efficient execution and management of contract works related to Council's water and sewer assets.
Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, you will oversee daily project planning and coordination to ensure optimal use of staff, contractors and resources. You will take necessary actions to deliver works and services on time and within budget constraints, minimizing delays and cost variances. Providing excellent customer service and delivering community value is also a key aspect of this role.
Candidate Profile
- Certified with a Certificate IV in Project Management or a related discipline, coupled with ongoing professional development or a willingness to obtain certification within a suitable timeframe
- Possession of a current Class C Drivers Licence
- Holding a current Confined Spaces Certification or willingness to acquire one
- Possession of a valid Construction General Induction card (NSW SafeWork or equivalent)
- Proven experience in operations, maintenance activities and/or construction related to water, sewerage, or similar utilities
- Ability in contract management with understanding of contract principles, including participation in workshops, design, and site supervision
- Strong professional written communication skills and competent in preparing correspondence, reports, business cases, contracts, specifications and proposals
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary up to 96600 AUD per annum
- Potential salary progression up to 112000 AUD subject to skills and performance assessment
- 12% superannuation contribution

- Access to a 9-day fortnight work schedule
