Project Coordinator

Overview

This role offers a permanent position supporting a global client by ensuring project progress remains on schedule within a dynamic environment. You will collaborate with various teams managing significant resource projects, playing an essential role throughout the entire project lifecycle — from proposal stages to final delivery.

Key Duties

• Facilitate project delivery by implementing consistent methodologies, utilizing appropriate tools and templates, and performing quality assurance on deliverables.
• Create and update detailed project schedules considering dependencies, critical paths, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project milestones, identify risks and issues, ensuring timely completion while escalating where necessary.
• Oversee financial aspects, including forecasting budgets and tracking variances.
• Provide comprehensive progress reporting and collaborate closely with stakeholders to guarantee successful outcomes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in a Project Coordinator or comparable delivery support capacity.
• Advanced scheduling capabilities with proficiency in project planning software, such as Microsoft Project.
• Outstanding organizational aptitude paired with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong and confident communicator able to engage effectively across multiple teams.
• Background in supporting large-scale projects, preferably within mining or resource sectors.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within delivery operations or project controls functions.
• Knowledge of risk management principles and implementation.
• Proven success in stakeholder engagement across diverse functional teams.
• Familiarity with change management frameworks.
• Capability to perform well in fast-moving and complex project environments.
