Project Controls Professional - LSNA-TX/VA

We seek a motivated Project Controls specialist to join our Program Management team in Elkton, VA, Richmond, VA, or Houston, TX. This role offers the opportunity to engage in cost forecasting, engineering cost control, reporting, and subcontractor invoicing in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting and budget management activities to ensure accurate project financial tracking.
• Produce detailed cost engineering reports and support subcontractor invoice processing.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to monitor project cost performance and derive actionable insights.
• Maintain robust project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports across engineering, construction, and capital projects.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Finance, or related business discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum five years of proven experience in cost engineering, project controls, or project management domains.
• Strong analytical capabilities to assess cost trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with expertise in complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analytics.
• Familiarity with project control tools such as EcoSys, Primavera Unifier, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Expertise in cost forecasting, cash flow analysis, and variance reporting.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently within collaborative teams.

Preferred Additional Experience

• Background supporting EPCM, industrial, life sciences, infrastructure, advanced facilities, or energy sector projects.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera Unifier, EcoSys IPCS, Polaris, and other proprietary project management systems.
• Knowledge of change management, risk management, and contingency tracking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Teams collaboration tools.

Compensation

The position offers a base salary ranging from $85,000 to $145,000 annually. The final salary will be determined based on location, expertise, and qualifications.
