Role Overview

We are seeking a Commissioning Management Consultant based remotely in KSA to join our project delivery team. This position entails full-time engagement, focused primarily on managing and guiding commissioning activities in coordination with teams in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, clients, designers, and contractors.

Key Duties

  • Evaluate and review commissioning-related documentation such as method statements, checklists, operation manuals, and training materials ensuring compliance with international standards and project requirements.
  • Oversee and approve on-site testing and commissioning activities consistent with project protocols, including participating in daily inspections.
  • Maintain detailed records of commissioning observations, tests, and checklists, and assist in documenting the systems manual.
  • Contribute to the creation and updating of Commissioning Activity Sheets (CAS) for effective monitoring.
  • Develop and refine Commissioning Plans and Programs to ensure smooth transitions between project phases.
  • Supervise handover phases from construction through commissioning to operational stages, including reviewing training materials.
  • Monitor progress through meetings and evaluate contractual commissioning metrics against project needs.
  • Collect and compile data for commissioning reports, providing summarized weekly and monthly updates.
  • Support sustainability-driven projects targeting certifications like LEED and Mostadam, preparing final reports as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Control System Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in commissioning processes for MEP systems and infrastructure projects.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience encompassing building design, construction supervision, testing, commissioning, energy management, and maintenance.
  • Certification in commissioning such as ASHRAE BCxP, AEE CBCP, or NEBB.
  • Familiarity with standards including ASHRAE Guideline 0/202, ASTM E2813/E2947, and NIBS Guideline 3.
  • Preferred accreditation in sustainability rating systems such as LEED AP or Mostadam AP.
  • Multi-disciplinary knowledge in MEP systems is advantageous.
