Role Overview
The Project Controller role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dammam responsible for managing project financials and schedule performance across multiple assignments. The incumbent will oversee budget adherence, cost control, cash flow monitoring, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure financial accuracy. They will collaborate closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, and site teams to align project execution with financial plans and contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control project costs, maintain budget tracking, and update progress reports regularly.
- Monitor cash flow to assist with billing accuracy and revenue recognition.
- Track change orders and verify supplier and subcontractor invoices for compliance.
- Support risk assessments, internal audits, and help refine project control processes and tools.
- Facilitate collaboration among multidisciplinary teams to ensure contractual and financial alignment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Hands-on experience in project financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting.
- Knowledge of project scheduling, milestone tracking, and timeline monitoring.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, ERP, or project management software capable of processing large datasets.
- Effective communication skills for clear reporting and presentation of complex data to stakeholders.
- Understanding of contracting and procurement processes including purchase orders, invoices, and change order management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail under pressure.
- Previous experience in project controls, finance, or administrative functions within engineering, construction, or technical sectors is preferable.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, engineering, business, or related disciplines preferred; professional certifications in project management or controls considered an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Dammam, collaborating with diverse teams while maintaining integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.
Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
