Job Overview

Amazon's Unified Alternate Fulfillment (UAF) channels team seeks a skilled Program Manager to lead regional program management initiatives across the Africa, Middle East, and Turkey (AMET) regions. This role focuses on expanding the Seller Flex, Vendor Flex, and Direct Fulfillment channels network.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative data-driven solutions that tackle broad organizational challenges.
  • Analyze business operations holistically to drive improvements across multiple teams and departments.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define, prioritize, and execute improvement programs from conception to completion.
  • Enhance operational performance across all programs by partnering effectively with stakeholders.

Daily Activities

As a Program Manager, you will spearhead the execution of innovative, data-informed changes, and lead improvement projects and programs. Strategic thinking is critical to design and implement streamlined project plans. Depending on team and task needs, you may work remotely or onsite.

The role entails managing complex challenges with creativity and leadership, and may also involve contributing to initiatives such as diversity, equity, and inclusion.

About the Team

The Global Specialty Fulfillment organization covers specialized segments including heavy and bulky item fulfillment, ultra-fast grocery deliveries, and UAF channels. UAF channels enable Amazon to fulfill customer orders directly from vendor or seller warehouses, increasing selection while maintaining the same high standards of customer experience as Amazon fulfillment centers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in program or project management.
  • At least 3 years collaborating cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience in defining and implementing data-driven process improvements using metrics.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel (including Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.
  • Competence in defining program requirements and leveraging data to identify enhancements.

Preferred Skills

  • Over 3 years leading end-to-end project delivery and communicating with senior leadership.
  • Proven experience in driving process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills involving multiple internal levels.
  • Expertise in process construction, project management, and scheduling.
