Team Overview

The Risk PMO team safeguards Stripe’s revenue and spearheads cross-functional strategies for organizational priorities. Positioned amidst Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams, the team ensures Stripe’s most significant clients can expand compliantly and efficiently despite the complex regulatory landscape. They design systems promoting collaboration and seamless user experiences.

Role Overview

The Program Manager role involves independently crafting and executing strategies for large-scale global regulatory programs. This visible senior individual contributor position demands balancing high-level vision with detailed management—developing templates, tracking progress, preparing documentation, and resolving cross-team challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle execution of critical international programs from initial planning through day-to-day tracking and change management.
• Enhance operational processes by creating systems and workflows that improve business results and key metrics.
• Align compliance and commercial goals by collaborating with GTM and account leaders to transform regulatory needs into competitive advantages that build customer trust.
• Develop and manage operating models across diverse teams including Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, and Compliance to maintain alignment and accountability among distributed workstreams.
• Serve as a trusted counselor by preparing strategic reviews for senior stakeholders and handling major escalations.
• Use structured, data-driven methods to collect user feedback, translating friction points into program improvements impacting products and operations.
• Identify and address systemic operational weaknesses proactively, constructing self-correcting processes and scalable infrastructures.
• Embody Stripe’s Operating Principles by fostering a culture focused on rigorous analysis, swift execution, and user-centricity.

Candidate Profile

This role seeks a strategic, resourceful operator and exceptional communicator capable of transforming ambiguous global issues into structured operational plans. The ideal candidate leads by influence and example, empathizes deeply with users, insists on action, and values precision in execution.

Minimum Qualifications

• Over 6 years of experience in Program Management, Strategy & Operations, Management Consulting, or GTM Strategy within fast-paced, rapidly growing organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects from conception through delivery.
• Outstanding communication and storytelling skills to simplify intricate technical or regulatory topics for senior and external audiences.
• Proven expertise building and scaling operating models, feedback loops, and PMO frameworks across functions.
• A growth mindset eager to learn, adapt, and incorporate feedback continuously.

Preferred Experience

• At least 3 years in high-growth technology or financial technology firms.
• Extensive collaboration with Engineering, Product, Legal, Compliance, and GTM/Sales teams.
• Proficiency with data visualization and analytical techniques to support strategy and evaluate program performance.

Work Environment

Employees at Stripe’s Dublin office are expected to spend approximately 100% of their working time onsite. More broadly, most locations require at least half the time to be office-based to balance in-person collaboration and flexibility.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role in Dublin is €88,600 to €133,000 annually, which may vary by location and role factors. Compensation might include equity, bonuses or commissions, retirement plans, healthcare coverage, and wellness allowances. Specific details are discussed during the interview process.
