About the Role
Join BOC Limited New Zealand as a Production Operator in Sockburn, Christchurch. This hands-on position entails filling, handling, testing, and refurbishing BOC gas cylinders, as well as operating the necessary machinery involved in these tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Fill, manage, and refurbish BOC gas cylinders ensuring operational standards.
- Operate equipment used in the filling and handling of packaged gases efficiently and safely.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and company procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Inspect products to guarantee they meet quality benchmarks before dispatch.
- Contribute to minimizing waste and losses during production processes.
- Follow daily production schedules and maintain precise stock records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production flow.
- Deliver excellent service to both internal divisions and external clients.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in production, manufacturing, or an industrial setting is essential.
- Proven ability to perform manual handling or physical work duties.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Capability to follow detailed instructions and processes diligently.
- Strong dedication to workplace safety practices.
- Team-oriented mindset with a readiness to assist colleagues.
- Possessing a forklift license is an advantage but not mandatory.
