Production Operator

About the Role

Ecolab is seeking two dependable and safety-conscious Production Operators to join their manufacturing team based in Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand. This role involves ensuring products are accurately and safely packed, with a focus on quality and efficiency. As you gain experience, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibilities.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (early finish)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate filling and weighing machinery safely and correctly
• Pack products into appropriate containers and confirm weight accuracy
• Label finished goods to prepare them for shipment
• Maintain production logs and complete all required documentation
• Perform TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) checks and assist with 5S organization activities
• Ensure quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
• Collaborate with Production and Quality departments to fulfill operational objectives

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience working in manufacturing, production, or processing settings
• Valid forklift license
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong dedication to quality
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols
• Reliable attendance and a cooperative, team-oriented mindset
• Basic proficiency in computers and comfort with production software or HMIs
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with filling, packing, or weighing equipment operation
• Familiarity with TPM and continuous improvement practices, including 5S methods
