About the Role
MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, within its Compugraphics division, has an opening for a Production Operator to join the team in Glenrothes, Scotland. This position mainly covers the day shift on a four-on/four-off rotation between 07:30 and 18:30. The Production Operator will operate within a Cleanroom facility, collaborating closely with Data Processing, Production Support, the Quality Department, and other production areas to ensure smooth processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret internal databases to identify customer specifications and requirements.
- Operate exposure tools by accurately inputting data to expose photomasks.
- Use specialized equipment to process photomasks.
- Measure critical feature dimensions in line with customer instructions and specifications.
- Maintain process control by adhering to the Statistical Process Control (SPC) system.
- Inspect product quality using automated inspection tools.
- Prepare and dispatch products according to specific customer instructions.
- Uphold cleanliness standards in the Cleanroom and follow all relevant protocols.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance work areas and foster ownership.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have qualifications equivalent to Standard Grade Maths and English, possess excellent time management skills, and exhibit a positive, proactive attitude. Strong communication skills for teamwork are essential. Experience in a Cleanroom environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
