Shift Details
The position involves working 12-hour shifts following a rotating schedule: 4 days on/3 off followed by 3 days on/4 off, including work days from Monday through Wednesday and alternating Thursdays. The role is scheduled to start in September 2026.
Role Overview
As a Manufacturing Associate 2 (MA2), you will be instrumental in producing Dexcom's life-saving CGM products. You will operate in a controlled cleanroom environment, utilizing both semi-automated and fully automated machinery to ensure products meet stringent quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment suits individuals with experience in medical device or regulated production, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and supervise semi-automated and automated equipment effectively.
- Perform routine manual operations including component handling, material loading, and assembly assistance.
- Execute precise assembly tasks requiring fine motor skills and maintain consistent production output.
- Conduct in-process quality checks to uphold product standards.
- Manage packaging, labeling, material transfer, and necessary data recording accurately.
- Adhere strictly to GMP guidelines, standard operating procedures, batch documentation, and cleanroom rules, ensuring precise documentation.
- Immediately identify and report any deviations, defects, or safety issues, contributing to quality improvement and yield enhancement.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues to maintain effective communication and seamless shift transitions.
- Promote a workplace culture focused on safety, quality, and continual improvement.
- Meet training competencies on schedule and consistently hit production and quality key performance indicators.
- Demonstrate dependability, precision, and strict compliance with standardized procedures.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum educational attainment: Leaving Certificate or equivalent Level 5 qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in medical device manufacturing or similarly regulated production environments.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to rigorously follow structured protocols.
- Comfort and proficiency with repetitive assembly tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- Good computer skills and mechanical understanding.
- Dependable, adaptable, and able to work well within a team setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Eligibility to work legally in Ireland.
- High manual dexterity is essential for job performance.
- Punctuality and efficiency in completing assigned tasks.

Compensation
The base hourly salary for this position is €15.09 gross. Additional overtime or shift premiums, if applicable, are not included in this amount.
