Star Adhesive and Resin Ind. Factory, established in 2000, is a prominent manufacturer specializing in advanced adhesives, sealants, chemicals, and coatings designed for the construction sector. Their product range includes high-quality water- and solvent-based adhesives, specialty coatings, liquid waterproofing agents, and other chemical products tailored for construction, waterproofing, wood, and HVAC industries. They serve projects and customers throughout the Middle East, North and East Africa, and India, offering products such as duct coatings, sealants, wood and flooring adhesives, lamination adhesives, cement bonding agents, admixtures, and waterproof coatings.

Role Overview

This full-time position is based at the UAQ Emirate location in the United Arab Emirates and involves hands-on operation of production machinery and lines to manufacture adhesives, sealants, and related chemical products in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare raw materials for production processes.
  • Operate and adjust manufacturing machines and production lines.
  • Conduct routine inspections and equipment checks to ensure operational integrity.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organise the workplace effectively.
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance and document production metrics.
  • Report any faults, deviations, or issues encountered during production.
  • Follow established standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines rigorously.
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors and team members to meet production targets and schedules.
  • Assist in training new staff members and support ongoing team development activities.

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Proven experience operating machinery and handling industrial equipment within manufacturing or chemical production settings.
  • Experience working on production lines, monitoring processes and achieving output goals.
  • Good communication abilities and willingness to engage in training and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Basic knowledge of workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to chemical manufacturing.
  • Physical capability to perform manual tasks and stand for extended durations within a factory environment, with adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing adhesives, coatings, or construction-related chemicals is advantageous.
  • At least secondary school education or equivalent, with vocational or technical certifications in manufacturing or related fields considered a plus.
