Role Overview
The Production Manager will hold full-time responsibility for managing the complete production cycle of PVC edge bands. Key duties include orchestrating daily manufacturing schedules, supervising workflow, guaranteeing adherence to quality standards, and ensuring timely product deliveries. This role involves working closely with departments such as procurement, logistics, and quality assurance to maintain adequate inventory and swiftly address production challenges. Monitoring key performance indicators, applying process improvements, and liaising with external partners and vendors are integral parts of the position. The role demands exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and reliable execution within a remote working arrangement.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Proven experience in production or operations management, ideally within manufacturing or consumer goods sectors.
- Expertise in planning, scheduling, and coordinating production workflows to achieve targeted volumes, quality metrics, and deadlines.
- Competence in analyzing production data, tracking KPIs, and identifying opportunities for process enhancements and cost savings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively engage with remote teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Familiarity with quality control standards, standard operating procedures, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Comfortable using digital tools and software platforms for production monitoring, reporting, and facilitating remote collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and sound decision-making in fast-paced, deadline-oriented settings.
- Leadership experience involving supervision or mentorship of production team members, contractors, or cross-functional project groups.
- Ability to work autonomously, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and sustain accountability in a remote environment.
