Role Overview
The MIS Executive position involves creating and managing comprehensive reports, dashboards, and automations primarily for the automotive or manufacturing sectors. This role requires an individual experienced in generating detailed MIS reports, developing interactive business-tracking dashboards, and implementing AI-driven automation to streamline repetitive data processes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Generate and update daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering Sales, Production, Purchase, Inventory, Dispatch, Receivables, and Management.
- Design and sustain dynamic dashboards in Google Sheets that enable real-time monitoring and informed decision-making.
- Automate reporting processes using advanced Google Sheets functions, Pivot Tables, QUERY language, and Apps Script.
- Develop and deploy AI agents and automated workflows to optimize MIS tasks, reporting, data analysis, and follow-up actions.
- Detect opportunities for process automation and improvements supporting data-based management strategies.
- Create and maintain detailed process materials including checklists, SOPs, flowcharts, and workflow documentation for multiple departments.
- Analyze and map current processes to identify gaps and inefficiencies to drive continuous improvement.
- Aggregate data from diverse sources ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reports.
- Construct management-oriented dashboards focusing on KPIs, trends, exceptions, outstanding tasks, and performance gaps.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to collect, validate, and interpret data effectively.
- Manage data repositories including masters, trackers, databases, and reporting tools.
- Extract actionable insights from data, emphasizing significant deviations that need management intervention.
Additional Knowledge - Production Systems
- Understanding production planning and management principles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with inventory control, material planning, stock oversight, production monitoring, dispatch, and order management is beneficial.
- Experience or knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and typical manufacturing workflows offers added value.
Candidate Profile and Skills
- Expertise in advanced Google Sheets functions and creating interactive dashboards.
- Proficiency in Google Apps Script and automating workflow processes.
- Practical experience with building AI agents and automation related to MIS.
- Strong capabilities in MIS generation, data analysis, and multi-dimensional reporting.
- Skill in drafting SOPs, checklists, flow charts, and mapping processes.
- Analytical mindset coupled with problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication and coordination across teams.
- High attention to detail and strong orientation towards process adherence.
Preferred Candidates
Individuals with backgrounds in automotive or auto-component manufacturing, specialized experience in production MIS, inventory management systems, ERP/MRP platforms, and AI-based process automation are favored.
Compensation
The monthly salary range for this role is INR 20,000 to INR 30,000.
