Production Manager

Position Overview

X-PERT Adhesives (K) Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Production Manager to oversee and lead the manufacturing activities of adhesive products. This role involves managing the entire production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety in the factory environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations for adhesive products, including batching, mixing, and filling stages.
• Ensure all formulations and manufacturing protocols are strictly followed for optimal product quality.
• Monitor critical quality parameters such as viscosity, consistency, bonding performance, and overall product standards.
• Manage consumption of raw materials, production yields, and minimize waste generation.
• Maintain comprehensive records of production batches and operational data.
• Collaborate with Quality Control teams for raw material inspection, in-process tests, and evaluation of finished goods.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to production processes and formulations promptly.
• Lead and supervise production personnel to meet daily manufacturing targets efficiently.
• Ensure factory floor cleanliness, machinery maintenance, and adherence to safety standards.
• Partner with senior management to enhance production workflows and drive cost reduction initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Proven industry experience in adhesives manufacturing is highly advantageous.
• Applicants with backgrounds in paints, coatings, resins, or similar chemical manufacturing sectors will also be considered.
• Solid knowledge of chemical batching and mixing operations.
• Familiarity with quality control practices and maintaining batch consistency.
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate production staff.
• Hands-on approach with comfort in working directly on the manufacturing floor.
• Excellent skills in reporting, production planning, and problem-solving.
