About the Role
WaterWipes invites applications for three Production Area Line Lead positions based in Drogheda, Ireland. This role involves direct leadership on the manufacturing floor, steering a team towards safe, efficient, and high-quality production outcomes. Candidates will thrive in a fast-moving environment and enjoy hands-on involvement in team development and operational management.
Key Duties
- Lead, mentor, and guide Production Operators to consistently meet daily production goals.
- Establish and uphold a robust safety culture aligned with Health & Safety protocols, GMP standards, and Safe Systems of Work.
- Facilitate daily team briefings to communicate goals, performance results, and operational updates.
- Optimize workforce deployment and production scheduling to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Ensure strict adherence to product quality standards at all times.
- Track line performance meticulously, maintain precise production records, and contribute to operational reporting.
- Promote team growth through targeted coaching, training, and performance management.
- Identify and implement process improvements, waste reduction, and continuous improvement strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with Quality, Engineering, and Warehouse departments to maintain seamless production flow.
- Provide leadership support and cover in the absence of the Production Team Leader.

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of five years' experience in manufacturing or production settings.
- Demonstrated leadership with experience guiding teams in a dynamic production environment.
- Thorough knowledge of Health & Safety, GMP, and production methodologies.
- Strong capability to make immediate, effective decisions during live production.
- Experienced in coaching and motivating employees for continuous performance enhancement.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence in leading operational meetings.
- Strong attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
- Familiarity with manufacturing management systems like SAP, TrakSYS, or equivalents.
- Disciplined and methodical in maintaining operational standards and controls.
- Exposure to FMCG sectors, high-volume manufacturing, or lean continuous improvement processes is advantageous.
