Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Product Strategist with a strong background in AI to bolster our expanding team in Auckland. If you are fatigued by software projects that never reach production or fail to deliver meaningful user value, Propellerhead offers a refreshing environment where delivering impactful software to clients is our priority, leveraging AI to expedite the process.
Our workplace operates on a hybrid model, combining office presence and remote work, with the requirement that candidates be based in Auckland or willing to relocate. We especially encourage Product Strategists from across New Zealand or abroad planning to move to Auckland to apply, requesting relocation details in their application.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify and express the client value proposition and frame the key problems worth addressing, focusing on the actual outcomes clients seek.
- Effectively communicate problem statements, hypotheses, and criteria that define success to stakeholders.
- Monitor and control product delivery by prioritizing funded backlog items and limiting work scope to maximize efficiency.
- Engage with both internal teams and client stakeholders to align on functional and commercial goals.
- Lead discovery phases, manage project scopes, and utilize AI tools to rapidly prototype and validate concepts, ensuring resources are optimally utilized.
- Define hypotheses and measurable success metrics to clearly illustrate achievement benchmarks.
- Coordinate with product delivery teams, keeping them well-informed of upcoming tasks and fostering a shared understanding of the product trajectory.
