Product Owner

About the Role

A confidential FinTech firm is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of its CFD and FX trading offerings across multiple platforms including web, mobile, and desktop. This critical position focuses on the complete trading product lifecycle, encompassing trader behavior, user experience, execution processes, pricing strategies, risk controls, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and deliver the product roadmap for CFD and FX trading products across various platform environments.
• Manage projects end-to-end, covering discovery, requirements gathering, prioritization, execution, launch, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Trading and Technology teams to advance key functionalities such as order execution, trading workflows, risk management, charting tools, and platform usability.
• Coordinate with Compliance and Legal departments to ensure regulatory adherence and obtain necessary product approvals.
• Conduct thorough market and competitor analyses to detect trends, customer needs, and areas for growth.
• Leverage data analytics and user feedback to drive ongoing product enhancements and increased adoption.
• Serve as the internal expert for CFD and FX product strategy and related decisions.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years' experience managing products within CFD and FX trading markets.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, order execution, pricing engines, and trading platform infrastructures.
• Proven track record delivering trading products across web, mobile, and multi-platform settings.
• Practical experience with MT4, MT5, proprietary trading systems, or liquidity provider integrations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable engaging with senior leadership and managing stakeholders.
• Data-oriented approach with proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel and Tableau or equivalents.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
