About Fundraise Up
Fundraise Up is a widely trusted global fundraising platform designed to make donating to nonprofit organizations swift, straightforward, and inclusive. Our innovative technology supports millions of dollars in donations monthly worldwide, emphasizing faster load times, improved conversion rates, global payment compatibility, and accessibility-driven design. Our platform is utilized by leading nonprofits such as UNICEF and the Alzheimer's Association, and it holds an excellent 4.9/5 rating across major software review platforms.
Operating globally, we cater primarily to the enterprise sector, assisting nonprofit entities across North America, the UK, Australia, and Europe. Our product ecosystem is extensive, encompassing a modern checkout experience, customizable widgets functioning as standalone single-page applications, donor and partner portals, admin tools, and other internal applications.
Our team exceeds 160 product professionals distributed mainly across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus. Despite the size, we maintain a focused approach where every task and voice are influential, emphasizing collaboration, best engineering practices, and a strong product mindset.
Role Overview
The Gift Cart is one of Fundraise Up's fastest expanding donation features, allowing contributors to support multiple causes during a single checkout experience. It offers nonprofits a novel way to showcase their programs and deepen donor engagement beyond traditional donation forms. Currently live and scaling across organizations supporting diverse causes, this role offers full ownership of the Gift Cart product lifecycle—from strategic planning to launch and ongoing management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Gift Cart product strategy and translate it into a prioritized roadmap with clear justification.
- Engage regularly with customers and Customer Success Managers (CSMs), collaborate with the analytics team to identify growth opportunities using data insights, and inform decision-making processes.
- Create comprehensive and detailed product specifications for engineering teams, including coverage of edge cases.
- Lead features from conception through launch in close collaboration with design and engineering teams.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as conversion rates, average donation amounts, and error rates to understand driving factors.
- Prepare CSM and Sales teams ahead of product launches to ensure contextual readiness.
- Maintain alignment among stakeholders regarding priorities, timelines, and any plan adjustments.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience managing an entire product area with accountability for outcomes rather than just tasks.
- Expertise in devising strategies and roadmaps spanning 12–24 months, with the ability to clearly articulate reasoning for decisions made.
- Strong data orientation, able to analyze funnels and metrics to uncover growth potential.
- Skillful in writing clear, detailed engineering specifications that address edge cases comprehensively.
- Systems thinking capability, viewing the product holistically, understanding dependencies, and anticipating the consequences of decisions.
- Excellent user experience awareness, with the capacity to advocate for superior experiences within teams.
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally among design, engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with e-commerce platforms or products featuring multi-step checkout processes.
- Background working with nonprofits, donors, or within the fundraising sector.
- Familiarity with payment flows or financial product management.
Working Environment and Tools
- High degree of ownership with direct collaboration alongside dedicated Engineering Team Lead, engineers, designers, analysts, and CSM/Sales teams.
- Active use of AI tools to enhance analysis, specification writing, and communication, incorporating clear assumptions and validation during processes.
- AI is integrated as a standard tool, not experimental, and team members are expected to effectively leverage AI to enhance productivity and problem-solving.
Why Join Us
- Be part of a highly collaborative product team that fully owns the products it develops.
- Access a clear product vision and direct customer feedback from leading global nonprofit organizations.
- Enjoy a flat organizational structure free from unnecessary politics, focused on excellent work with excellent colleagues.
- Experience transparent company culture sharing growth metrics, revenue sources, and future plans openly.
- Benefit from long-term incentives including equity options and a culture valuing sustained meaningful contributions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $4600 to $5000 gross; exact compensation based on experience, skills, and location.
- 31 paid days off annually.
- Company subsidized medical insurance.
- Fully paid telemedicine services.
- Support for home office setup including furniture and equipment purchases.
- Partial reimbursement for English language learning (up to $1000 per year).
- 100% reimbursement for relevant professional education costs (up to $1500 per year).
- 50% reimbursement for gym or swimming pool memberships (up to $500 annually).
- Co-working space expenses covered up to $250 per month.
- Remote working flexibility.
