Overview

Are you a technically proficient Product Manager passionate about owning products and features, collaborating intimately with Engineering and QA to transform intricate requirements into solutions that provide tangible value to users? Transport Exchange Group (TEG.tech), an established B2B SaaS leader serving the logistics and transportation sector for over 26 years, seeks a commercially savvy Product Manager – Exchange to join its expanding Product team in London.

This hands-on role involves complete accountability for designated products and features, with a focus on boosting Member engagement and continuous enhancement aligned with both user needs and business goals.

Key Duties

  • Assume end-to-end responsibility for specific products and features, promoting adoption among Members and driving ongoing optimizations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of product functionalities, user behaviors, business workflows, and technical dependencies.
  • Convert business and Member requirements into organized, actionable product specifications with clear acceptance criteria and expected outcomes.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring development efforts concentrate on the most valuable opportunities.
  • Engage closely with Engineering and QA teams during development cycles to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and facilitate smooth delivery.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and broader stakeholders to analyze challenges, gather requirements, and create suitable solutions.
  • Leverage product analytics, customer feedback, and business intelligence to spot improvement and expansion prospects.
  • Monitor product performance and adoption rates to inform subsequent enhancements.
  • Investigate and identify root causes of product issues and partner with technical teams for effective resolutions.
  • Balance considerations of technical feasibility, user demands, and commercial priorities when making product decisions.
  • Build strong relationships and transparently communicate product priorities, development status, decisions, and dependencies across teams.
  • Support the launch of product updates ensuring relevant teams understand new features and improvements.
  • Continuously explore innovations and procedural improvements with actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date product documentation capturing requirements and decision rationale.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven background as a Product Manager in software, SaaS, or technology-driven organizations.
  • Strong familiarity with software development life cycle and collaboration experience with Engineering and QA teams.
  • Track record of product ownership involving ongoing enhancement and feature development.
  • Proficient in interpreting complex business and user inputs and translating them into clear product specifications.
  • Expertise in backlog prioritization, requirement management, and handling competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities enabling evidence-based decision-making on complex issues.
  • Technical knowledge sufficient to engage confidently with engineering on constraints, dependencies, and solutions.
  • Experience utilizing product performance data, customer insights, and feedback to guide decision-making.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Commercially aware with an understanding of how product decisions impact customer adoption and business results.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, responsible, and comfortable owning product areas end-to-end.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, marketplaces, logistics, or transport technology environments is advantageous.
