Role Overview

As Product Manager for E-Invoicing, you will be responsible for integrating DocuWare with networks that facilitate electronic invoice exchange. Collaborating closely with experts in engineering, user experience, and compliance, you will ensure our product complies with customer demands for electronic invoicing. You will keep track of regulatory requirements and deadlines, assisting clients in achieving compliance through DocuWare's platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor developments and requirements relating to e-invoicing across Europe and beyond in cooperation with internal and external compliance experts.
• Develop a thorough understanding of customer needs and expectations.
• Adopt a customer-centric approach by gathering feedback and analyzing data to guide informed decisions.
• Articulate clear requirements addressing customer issues and demands.
• Design short-, medium-, and long-term strategies and product roadmaps for your domain, leading the team with defined goals and KPIs.
• Foster constructive, inclusive collaboration among product teams and function as a key interface with stakeholders.
• Work closely with software developers and UX specialists within a SCRUM framework to implement the product.

Candidate Profile

• Comprehensive and deep knowledge of e-invoicing concepts.
• Familiarity with standards such as XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, FatturaPA, and Factur-X.
• Ability to clearly explain distinctions between PEPPOL, SDI, Chorus Pro, and FACe in simple terms.
• Experience as a product manager for software products; B2B software experience is advantageous.
• Proven experience working in agile settings, e.g., as a SCRUM Product Owner.
• Enjoy direct interaction with end-users and shaping solutions based on their feedback.
• Strong organizational abilities, goal-oriented mindset, and readiness to assume responsibility.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex matters clearly.
• High social competence and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English; German skills are a plus.
