Role Responsibilities
The Product Manager will own the direction, roadmap, and lifecycle oversight of Eaton's White Space product portfolio across the EMEA region. This role involves identifying market opportunities, defining product specifications, and coordinating with multiple teams including Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations throughout EMEA and North America to foster innovation and profitable growth in a key business segment.
The product portfolio covers IT racks and accessories, rack PDUs, rack power solutions including direct current architectures, aisle containment systems, POD solutions, superstructure solutions, and data center monitoring and management software. These are integral to Eaton's comprehensive Grid-to-Chip approach tailored for modern cloud, colocation, and AI-focused data centers.
Key Duties
- Define and implement product strategy and roadmap.
- Manage all stages of the product lifecycle, from initial development through to end-of-life.
- Ensure product profitability and assist in setting pricing approaches.
- Collect customer insights and observe evolving market trends.
- Spot growth prospects and key competitive differentiators.
- Establish requirements for new product development projects.
- Collaborate with engineering to innovate and develop new solutions.
- Support go-to-market endeavors and product launches.
- Coordinate with global teams to synchronize product plans.
- Offer product expertise for major clients and strategic opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
- Experience in Product Management, Marketing, or Business Development roles.
- Background in the Data Center industry and understanding of infrastructure technologies.
- Familiarity with White Space solutions such as racks, rack PDUs, containment systems, modular PODs, or similar technologies is highly preferred.
- Strong business insight and financial understanding.
- Excellent skills in stakeholder management and communication.
- Proven ability to operate effectively within a global matrix organizational structure.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
