Role Summary
Due to growth, Vertiv seeks a Product Manager to drive the development and expansion of the Busbars product line across the EMEA region. This role entails full ownership of the product lifecycle, market analysis, profitability management, sales support, and execution of go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of the Busbars portfolio, including new product introductions, line extensions, updates, rationalization, and phase-in/phase-out planning.
- Engage directly with sales, consultants, contractors, distributors, and end users to collect and prioritize market and customer requirements.
- Define customer requirements clearly and develop business cases for new product developments and enhancements.
- Analyze market trends, demand factors, specification standards, and competitor products within the busbars market.
- Formulate regional go-to-market plans and support sales and marketing to optimize portfolio revenue and margins.
- Manage product profitability, pricing strategy, sales forecasts, and implement corrective actions to meet business goals.
- Provide technical support to sales teams including product education, competitive analysis, and assistance with major project opportunities.
- Create and deliver technical presentations, product training, launch materials, and sales enablement resources for various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and supply chain to enhance lead times, product availability, quality, and lifecycle support.
- Work with consultants and contractors alongside Technical Sales to ensure inclusion of Busbars solutions in project specifications.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer visits to boost market visibility and gather intelligence.
- Report regularly to senior leadership on product performance, market trends, sales pipeline health, win rates, and strategic prospects.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; advanced degrees such as a Master’s are preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in product management, technical marketing, application engineering, or strategic business development within power distribution or related electrical infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of busbars technology, market applications, customer needs, and procurement processes.
- Proven expertise in translating customer needs into product roadmaps, business cases, and commercial initiatives.
- Strong commercial insight to manage portfolio growth, profitability, pricing, and priorities effectively.
- Business-level English proficiency (minimum C1).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of preparing technical and commercial presentations.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across sales, marketing, engineering, operations, and supply chain departments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems such as CRM and planning platforms.
- Self-motivated, professional, goal-driven, with a proactive work attitude.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% across the region.
