About the Role

Google is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join the Ask Maps team in Singapore. This role involves driving the creation of innovative products that impact billions of users worldwide, focusing on enhancing the Google Maps experience with the latest generative AI and geospatial technologies. Candidates must have the right to work in Singapore without requiring visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and secure alignment on a comprehensive product vision that integrates various components into a cohesive, impactful product narrative.
  • Establish the long-term strategy for understanding user mobility patterns and proactively assist users in their travel plans.
  • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams across Google Geo and other groups to integrate advanced personalization, geospatial intelligence, and autonomous capabilities; develop scalable infrastructure for high-quality personalized mobility suggestions.
  • Drive the launch of new, zero-to-one mobility features that enhance the intuitiveness and proactivity of Maps, iterating rapidly through user feedback to refine AI-powered mobility interactions and support business growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.
  • At least 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years in taking technical products from ideation through execution to launch, including experience with generative AI technologies.
  • At least 3 years managing consumer-facing products on mobile and web platforms.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in technology or business disciplines.
  • Five years of cross-functional collaboration experience with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Five years in business roles such as strategic marketing, business operations, or consulting.
  • Four years of experience preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • Three years in software development or engineering roles.
  • Experience with map-related, navigation, or mobility consumer applications is desirable.
