About Base360.ai and The Role

Base360.ai is dedicated to simplifying short-term rental management, aiming to enable anyone to operate and expand a rental business effortlessly on AI autopilot. It integrates property management, guest communications, bookings, cleaning, maintenance, and finance into a unified platform. We are seeking an ambitious UX/UI Product Designer to collaborate closely with founders and engineers to craft intuitive and elegant experiences tailored to property managers, operational teams, and guests.

Design Responsibilities

• Develop central product components such as dashboards and workflows encompassing reservations, property management, guest communication, cleaning, maintenance, and financial tasks.
• Optimize AI-driven interactions by facilitating easy configuration, transparent oversight, and seamless intervention when necessary.
• Create onboarding and setup processes that help operators connect channels and add properties, ensuring swift value realization from the platform.
• Design smooth booking and guest journey experiences including direct bookings, check-in, extensions, and upselling opportunities.
• Build and maintain a scalable design system composed of reusable components and consistent interaction patterns to preserve platform coherence during expansion.
• Design website landing pages, marketing visuals, and launch materials that clearly communicate product value.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Own the entire design process from problem identification and user research through prototyping, interface finalization, and implementation collaboration.
• Engage directly with operators and internal teams to deeply understand workflows and pain points.
• Translate complex requirements into clear user journeys, wireframes, and polished interface designs.
• Work tightly with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility considering data, edge cases, and technical limitations.
• Conduct early testing of ideas, assimilate feedback, and iterate to enhance the user experience post-launch.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate design exploration and production without sacrificing quality.
• Proactively identify challenges, propose solutions, and drive projects through to completion.

Qualifications and Skills

• A compelling portfolio showcasing strong UX principles alongside outstanding visual design.
• Demonstrated experience in designing SaaS products, especially dashboards or applications with intricate workflows.
• Proficient with Figma, including expertise in auto layout, components, design systems, and interactive prototyping.
• Excellent command over typography, spatial organization, hierarchy, color theory, and responsive design principles.
• Capability to distill complex information clearly without concealing critical user data.
• Experience collaborating directly with engineering teams to see design solutions implemented in production.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate design reasoning and constructively receive feedback.
• High sense of ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and adaptability in fluid requirement settings.

Additional beneficial experience includes exposure to short-term rentals, hospitality, AI-driven products, conversion optimization, or front-end development.
