Product Architect - Connectivity Links and Enablement Platform

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Architect to lead the technical vision for the OMS (Link Enablement Platform) within our Connectivity Suite, collaborating with various application teams. This role involves defining the comprehensive architecture and product processes, continuously refining them to align with strategic objectives for 2025 to 2030. The architect will ensure smooth workflows, task automation, and streamlined operations to enhance efficiency for both internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the complete product architecture by creating, documenting, and iterating its design.
• Develop, document, and improve product processes for streamlined operation.
• Translate long-term business strategy and vision into actionable product roadmaps that align with enterprise and product line goals.
• Design solutions that automate workflows and reduce lead times for stakeholders.
• Implement data models and integration approaches that guarantee dependable, high-quality data supporting analytics and informed decision-making.
• Collaborate deeply with product owners, business stakeholders, enterprise architects, developers, and operations teams to co-develop effective solutions.
• Analyze broader market conditions and customer needs through contextual research and stakeholder engagement, reflecting findings in the architecture and roadmap.
• Balance aspects of innovation, security, stability, and resilience while maintaining the capacity for evolution and experimentation in collaboration with the product team.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), or MCA from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 12 years professional experience with substantial background in architecture and enterprise-level solutions.
• Hands-on proficiency with VB.NET and the Connectivity Suite, including application development and delivery management.
• Strong product management skills with a clear understanding of application requirements in product owner administration and finance domains.
• Ability to convert customer and business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Comprehensive understanding of product strategies, user journey mapping, and business limitations.
• Experienced in technical debt management balancing delivery speed, quality, cost, and risk.
• Capability to define non-functional requirements including scalability, availability, and security parameters.
• Adept at cross-functional collaboration with product managers, developers, security teams, operations, and customers.
• Expertise in systems architecture focusing on scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable design.
• Fundamental knowledge of software engineering principles, programming, APIs, databases, distributed systems, and testing methodologies.
• Experience with cloud environments, containerization, networking, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in security concepts such as threat modeling, identity and access management, encryption, privacy, and compliance.
• Skilled in performance optimization and reliability including capacity planning, observability, fault tolerance, monitoring, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Competent in evaluating technologies, tools, frameworks, platforms, and making build-versus-buy decisions.
• Strong understanding of data architecture involving data modeling, governance, analytics, and familiarity with AI/ML architectures where applicable.
• Ability to produce clear and thorough technical documentation like architecture diagrams, decision records, specifications, and roadmaps.
